I don’t think Newt would be the best choice and I think Jonie Ernst (sp) would be a great choice. I saw her as very agressive and I doubt the media could demonize her and get away with it. Anyway it’s all academic because Trump has said he won’t announce his running mate until the convention. Lessen the danger of another person screwing up and costing him the presidency. He wants to depend on himself to win this one. All he needs is to have “behind the scene” experts to handle the land mines. If he announced now the person he chose would become just another target and another chance of a screwup. We all know how little it takes to create a disaster in a campaign. I’m with Trump on this one. Don’t announce till the last minute.
