I’ve always been an AJ Foyt fan and was in my glory standing next to him in Gasoline Alley last year but the finish of the 1982 race was incredible as was the finish of the 2014 race:

I remember the Johncock win. The mechanics made adjustments to his set up on the final pit stop. I watched as the pit crew adjusted the down-force up front. After the race I remember Johncock saying, paraphrased, “Yeah, they made adjustments and the car went to hell!” ;-)

Also, Mears made his move too late in the race.

I remember when he used to drive. One time he wasn’t happy with the pit crew, got out and helped then shoehorned himself back into the cockpit and continued the race.
