no- they relish it...its referred to as the snake pit and they have a big concert there the Saturday before the race..

Always. We often had a better time going to time trials. Could have a nice picnic and enjoy the day with a better family atmosphere.

Werent they trying to clean up the reputation of the infield at one time? Sadly, they were successful. The Snakepit in the 80s was full of all sorts of sights and sounds and education for teenage boys like I was. Nowadays, it's as tame as Disney in comparison.
