If it weren’t Hillary or a communist I’d say I’m in. The republican establishment now thinks it must think for us. Sounds familiar I think I’ve heard how that one ends. Nope. No sir. I will not vote for her. I remember Benghazi and my neck gets a cold chill every time I read another freeper in one way or another supporting her.

Oh I'm definitely voting for the Republican because that will cause the least suffering! I just mean ... I don't experience disappointment or surprise or disgust. That keeps me a happy warrior for the principles which never change, as opposed to the men or the organizations or the institutions, which pass through life and death, good and bad.

Principles have no cycles and no delusions, men do. So, men can be expected to often behave terribly, against the interests of themselves and others - as if they were really evil - when really - they are just deluded, often willfully. Knowing I'm also subject to delusion, I hope that being awake to fact reduces it as much as possible.

Mankind is a bunch of lunatics. At the very least we can know that about ourselves, so we're on guard - and not be too surprised when our fellow man acts like a band of cult idiots. Most don't even know they are a crazy, so they are never on guard, they always believe their own minds. That's ultimately the source of all misery and suffering. I think ultimately 'not knowing you are a deluded lunatic' is what was meant by Pride being the killer.
