How much of NYC would remain after a couple glaciers?

“How much of NYC would remain after a couple glaciers?”

Little on the surface, but lots underground :-). Plus the recession of the glaciers would leave a trail of all sorts of artifacts ... they wouldn’t crush everything into sand.

I’d never doubt that it was possible there was some kind of civilization here long before us. I’m just saying that there is zero evidence of one. While we have our entire planet mapped out and can explain lots of phenomena, we still know relatively little about it. Most of our oceans are still largely unexplored and we certainly don’t know what kind of surprises are beneath our feet.

Still, we haven’t a shred of evidence of any advanced civilization. We can find fossilized dinosaurs and relatively intact creatures frozen for thousands of years from around that time, but we have yet to discover so much as a fragment of an advanced civilization (and by that, I am assuming one that would either be on par with us or more advanced ... though we’d be pretty advanced w/o all of the frigging liberals).
