I believe it...the bolts from my Excalibur typically pass thru the deer and bury into the ground beyond...I usually don’t find them.

I shot 3 woodchucks at a distance of about 150 yeards once when i was 10 with one shot from a 30-30- (I only saw the one woodchuck cum up out of a hole, next to our garden, and shot it- when i walked out to retrieve it, there were two more dead right next to it-)

I have trouble hitting the broadside of a barn, so it wasn’t skill on my part- just a very unexpected shot-
