Pay VERY close attention to whom the Democrats appoint as Hillary’s running mate. THAT person will be the next President. Whether through Ill health, Indictment, or Impeachment after election, Hillary will not serve and her VP will take over.
That is the person Trump is running against.
I am strongly aligned with Trumps economic and immigration policies. And I love his anti-PC way of speaking.
However, I am concerned that a number of principled conservatives will stay home and not vote this cycle.
There is real fear that Trump will not support people like the Christian bakers who got fined for not baking a Gay Wedding cake.
There is real fear that Trump, who supported the assault weapon ban, will not support full second amendment rights.
There is real fear that Trump, who is a social liberal, will appoint Supreme Court Justices that will truly re-write the constitution.
I will be watching the convention with great interest. If Trump makes a serious attempt to assuage these fears, and addresses the conservative half of the party with how he is going to protect them and their way of life, I will happily pull the lever for the guy this November.
But if he decides that, screw the conservatives, we don’t need them....well, I’ll be staying home on election day to clean my guns.
Ugh
President Castro just sounds like a very, very bad idea.
Yeah whatever “principled conservatives” means. The likes of Beck, Levin, McShamey, Graham, and the others are hardly principled. Their guy lost and they are acting like children.
Trump will bring out voters who have sat out for a while because no one listens to them. Even Ted didn’t listen to them. He started his campaign talking wonky inside politics stuff. It wasn’t until Donald was showing strength based on borders, take, and jobs that Ted made even a hat tip to those notions. Note well that Cruz voted for TPA and was in favor of TPP until the heat got to much for him
