pogo- many people get piled on and get pushed to react emotionally- but after the dust settles, reason sets in and these people claiming ‘nevertrum’ ‘nevercruz’ etc are really, at hte end of the day, actually ‘neverhillary’ and will vote against her no matter who the nominee is-

There is a rotten atmosphere of lynch mob here on FR lately- piling on people who in the primaries, honestly believe cruz is a stronger conservative- it’s an attempt, just like in berkley, to shut down any position that don’t like- shouting them down- bullying them- pushing them into the shadows=- and getting them to react emotionally- so they can run to the owner and say’ BAN- BAN- BAN- it’s a lynch mob mentality- we’ve seen it play out in this thread- with many justifying their actions by claiming they are ‘trying to unify the party’ (while ignoring the fact that they just drove someone out of it- Just silenced opposing views- etc)

Look around you- many cruz supporters have been driven into the shadows- rarely even posting anymore- this isn’t unifying the party- this is nothing more than berkley tactics- shut down anyone you disagree with because opposing opinions can’t be tolerated-

Trump will likely get the nomination- it’s almost certain now- however, there is still a slim chance Ted could win on a second ballot, and many believe he is more conservative and has more actual political substance than trump does- and many feel that trump is going to get ripped to shreds by hilarly during the general because trump hasn’t come up with any real cognizant policy plans- and when pressed on several issues during the debate, he had to resort to personal attacks on his opponents and resort to his usual catch phrases that lack and specifics, but is meant solely to elicit an emotional response in the public- (and incidentally this is what trump supporters do as well)-

Trump is not going to get away with that in the general election- He wont’ get to retreat behind personal his usual personal attacks because hte moderators will go into full blown anti-trump mode and hold him accountable to the fact that he doesn’t have any real specifics— the left and the main stream media won’t let him get away with that

Many trump supporters will most likely be incensed by this but it’s what’s coming- Ted on the other hand - whether you like him or not- has policy issues down pat- He will at th very least- should he become nominee- go toe to toe with her and hold his ground on the issues- it’s what he’s dealt with all his political life- Trump has not- Simply saying “It’s going to be unbelievable” for applause effects- (something he continually refers to- and something you know the left have picked up on and will exploit his weird need for self aggrandizing) isn’t going to cut it during the general- The mainstream media and the left are going to demand specifics- an he’d better be prepared to have any specifics he might come up with ripped apart and ridiculed by the left-

The primaries are still live- and while Ted’s chances aren’t huge- there is still a chance, and people shouldn’t be bullied into silence if they believe CRuz would be the better candidate- That’s Not what this party is about- We don’t- or least shouldn’t act like the snowflakes at berkley who can’t tolerate someone who doesn’t believe what they believe- Yet that is exactly what we’re seeing here on FR lately-

bottom line is- many people during primaries react emotionally, and claim they are ‘neverso-and-so’ yet when it coems to the general- cooler heads prevail, and they become ‘neverhilarly’- Driving these people further into the shadows, or outright banning them isn’t helping unify the party- it’s a form of ‘comply or get the hell out’
