Keep up - my question, to which “Cruz lies” was offered in response was “Why can one not support Trump without trashing Cruz, and vice-versa.

So my follwup question is relevant.

It would be best to aquaint yourself with contest before using the words “non sequitur” again.

What kind of contest? I think the non sequitur term fit quite nicely. I already told you that Cruz’s lying has nothing to do with the qualifications of Trump for POTUS. I do not necessarily “trash” Cruz to support Trump, if by “trashing” you mean telling the truth about Cruz. It just works out that way. I “trash” Cruz because he is a habitual liar. I likely will “trash” Cruz again if he runs for reelection in the 2018 election because I do not want a habitual liar as my Senator. I assume he will not be running against Trump in 2018. I like Trump and I intensely dislike Cruz. I do not see those two things as being dependent on each other. Does that clear things up?
