This guy is either pocketing several million dollars from Soros to continue this charade, or he’s falling apart right in front of us. If it’s the latter, I think it may be related to his relationship with his father, but that’s just a guess.
If i had spent the first 4 decades of my life being told that God had preordained me to take my rightful place one day as His earthly King, I might be falling apart on national TV too. Think about this a minute. Ted Cruz is:
-A person who loves his father very much, as expected. If Cruz the son has spent his entire life trying to please his father, then he may have to work extra hard to win his father’s love (just a guess, but the pattern fits).
-A person whose father seems to be using him to fulfill the father’s own unmet ambitions.
-A person who has been told for 4 decades that one day he will rule over the 7 Mountains: Business, Govt, Family, Religion, Media, Education, & Entertainment.
-A person whose wife had to be interpreter to tell him that God told HER that He wants Ted to run for President in 2016. (I think if I were in Ted’s shoes, I would have asked God to talk to me directly, just in case the wife was a little too ambitious to be a First Lady. Nothing personal against Heidi.)
-A person who feels duty-bound to “take possession of the land the Lord your God is giving you for your own” (Joshua 1:11, i think).
-And finally, a person who may be having a very hard time dealing with his contradictory feelings right now. He’s having to face this while on the world stage, which is much worse. Where is God? Did my father lie to me? Or is my faith not strong enough and I just need to pray harder?
Some may laugh at these speculations, but if this is what’s happening, someone needs to have a talk with Papa Cruz so he’ll give Ted permission to quit. I’d bet good money that Ted was never taught by his father how to be his own man and make his own decisions.

I don’t buy that, because someone fully sold out on such a religious view would not be deterred by a setback. In God’s plan, maybe this was preparation for 2016. It’s like the Seventh-Day Adventists-—when Jesus didn’t come as prophesied in the 1800s, well, “we just read it wrong, but He’s coming next week/month/year.
