Ted's wife Heidi crafted the North American Union while working for the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations.) Since it would remove all borders and sovereignty, it won't matter that Ted is not a natural born citizen of the USA. There will be no more USA (laws, borders, constitution, etc.) Ted's being a natural born Canadian will suffice to be President or Prime Minister of the North American Union.

You can bet your bottom dollar that this is what Ted is counting on for him and his "running mate" (as Heidi has called herself), her "partnership" in the presidency, a two-fer, co-presidency for the 21st century.
