I’d rather have Cruz, the CONSERVATIVE, which is what I thought this site was about.
And don't say you want a Shetland pony.
Cruz comes across as if he is putting on a big act, pretending to typify stereotypes of conservatives while not actually one himself. The fact that he has to tell us to trust him tells me there is something about him to distrust.
But, putting that aside, in what way does having a "perfect" ideology qualify one to be president? Cruz does not have the education or job skills necessary for the presidency. And lawyers have done spectacularly bad as president--disasters Clinton and Obama come to mind.
Personally, I prefer the candidate who already has executive experience. Sure, Trump has some flaws--just like the rest of us--but he has a good platform and has lived conservatism through building his business and creating jobs. And the fact that he is taking no special interest money means that he actually wants to represent the people, not do the bidding of big money donors.
The only reason Cruz is able to run is because he is being funded by the same people who funded Romney and Jeb Bush...Doesn't that throw up some red flags to you???
