I have seen at least as much nastiness from Cruzers to Trumpsters. It’s far from a one way street, and as a former Cruz supporter until January, I’d have to say the Cruzers started and perpetuated it.
The question that was asked was whether Trump has personally insulted Cruz supporters. The answer that I gave was that while I haven't personally heard him insult Cruz supporters I have heard many of his supporters be quite insulting.
The issue about Cruz supporters' behavior toward Trump supporters was not asked nor was it answered one way or the other.
I personally don't care for cultists on either side [note that I am NOT calling all supporters cultists] and there are plenty on both side who can't seem to recognize that their candidate is a human (ie, subject to human frailty) and a politician (and that isn't a compliment).
