First who is going to be appointed to check gender at the bathroom door? Hard to enforce a law that one can’t prove has been broken. Stalls are private.
And as you said no responsible adult would let a child go unaccompanied into any public restroom! Same sex perverts are dangerous.

Tell that to the people in Washington State where it is now legal for trans to enter women’s locker rooms. People are focused on the bathrooms and how their is privacy with stalls. Men are now allowed to access women’s locker rooms & showers in Washington State including at schools.
People question why NC needed to pass a law — this is the reason and it will be coming to your state sometime soon.
I avoid locker rooms anyway. Always have. Signed up for flag core/drill team as PE in HS so I didn’t have to shower or use the locker room. I’m female btw.
