That is sad. If you use Twitter properly it is an awesome thing. Don’t “follow” everyone and be a slave to a “feed” to keep up with.
But if you hear of an important thing happening in your hometown or the world, search for that place (no need for a hashtag) and get the most updated local info from the sources.
Just watch a candidate’s speech or a ball game is on? Search it and get on the spot comments like on a FR live thread. See if anyone caught that faux pas or the missed call.
Use Twitter as needed; just don’t let it use you.

You are right. I don’t go to twitter much, there is something important going on here, in my corner of the world, and people are talking about it. Since they are Canadians, and not conservative, they aren’t Freepers, and again, it’s a local matter.
It was helpful to me as a journalist to keep up with things, to make contacts to follow up, etc.
You are right, it’s just like an FR live thread.

For what, 2nd’s amazing ability to copy and paste other people’s articles, while demonstrating no critical thinking capability or original thoughts?

You’ve got to give Trump credit. That’s a lot of attention from such a cheap venue.

Twitter and Facebook are in a large part responsible for the continuing destruction of Western Civilization....it is a feeding trough for the hordes of narcissistic sheep who need constant affirmation.

Use Twitter as needed; just dont let it use you. That's a good argument, but I prefer to keep my distance from all such sources of industrial-strength ignorance.

(a) twitter isnt a website (b) its virtually impossible for the cloud service known as twitter to be down (c) b is a pity, because twitter is a true cesspool; a vast, intellectual wasteland Twitter, Fakebook, Snapchat, Instagram are the TOILET of the Internet. All need to be flushed forever.

A DNS server is a computer server that contains a database of public IP addresses and their associated hostnames, and in most cases serves to resolve, or translate, those names to IP addresses as requested.DNS servers run special software and communicate with each other using special protocols.
And what does that have to to do with Vic's post about Cruz PACs paying money to a strategy company? Which has nothing to do with Twitter being down...?
