I don't understand your remark. But, by way of explanation, I skimmed allahpundit's piece (I don't respect his work), read a comment from another poster, and was just remarking that whatever Trump was doing, sure cranked up a blogger who I find to be self-important. I don't think allahpundit's work is worth studying, maybe he's right, maybe not, I don't care. Right or wrong, he's cranked up. Trump could make an offhand joke (like Limbaugh does from time to time), and some self-importer writer somewhere will make a federal case out of it.

i have never heard Trump say anything even mildly self-deprecating or make a little joke but perhaps I should listen more.
Most columnists can get a little self-important but they are hardly alone in that.
