European engineering is supposed to be so brilliant, especially the Germans, but I gotta tell ya if they are so idiotic as to give away their nation then they are morons and and the same must be true of their judgement and ingenuity. I will never buy another German car in fear it might just crash all on its own, as has its nation.
German engineering is meticulous and robust. Engineering from Northern Italy is clever and quick. Both great. France....not so much.
