When I first read this I thought the author was attributing these words to Trump, when in fact they are from our communist governor Andrew (the apple didn’t fall far from the “Mario” tree) Cuomo.
Then there are ridiculous remarks from New York’s socialist Mayor DeBlasio (spell check didn’t recognize the word “DeBlasio” but offered this suggestion, “Delusional”), also associating Trump with his comments and views.
I guess the author is trying to associate Trump with these people and their comments because Trump gave or “may have” given campaign contributions to these people, there by creating an association that smears Trump with their liberal bile and feces.
Trump DID NOT support these people or their crazy left wing views! He’s a builder in New York City RUN by these filthy evil liberals. For BUSINESS reasons (how many times do we have to say this?) he donated to EVERYONE. He HAD to.
This “hit piece” article is really about Cuomo and DeBlasio not Trump. Trying to confuse the reader that Trump himself said these things. HE DID NOT!
Cuomo and DeBlasio’s values are NOT the “New York values” that Trump or most of New Yorkers believe in.
One minor point. When Cruz insulted “NY values” he forgot (like many do) that “New York” is a whole STATE, not just a city. When Cruz insults “NY values”, he insults THE WHOLE STATE. Smooth move Ex-Lax.

Sorry, I forgot to add that those illustrious words were from our demented, rabid, extreme, far left wing, liberal Governor ANDREW CUOMO.
Get real. Out here in the hinterlands, where we have fewer people in our biggest towns than you have in some blocks of NYC, we didn't think it was disparaging the folks in the western part of the state watching their PA brethren in relative prosperity, knowing full well the influence of NYC in Albany just might have had something to do with the Marcellus gas wells NOT drilled in NY (state), or the jobs NOT had in rural NY, or the money NOT made in rural NY, or the food that didn't get on the table because a bunch of big city liberals are running the joint couldn't extract payola from that.
We knew who he was talking about: the corrupt urban liberals who pushed crap through like the "SAFE Act".
Why, to blame the rural folks would be like blaming rural California for the behaviour of that bunch in San Francisco.
We don't, but that doesn't stop California from being described as 'a bowl of granola'. Any SANE person knows that such places are not ideologically homogeneous.
So we didn't see it that way.
We know that isn't apple butter on the country folks' bread, and we all know where it came from.
But we also well understood the very urban liberal values Cruz was talking about, the ones piped into your home from studios and programming offices in NYC and splattered across the living rooms of all of America from New York (city),New York (state), and we knew those were the ones Cruz referred to. If you live there, if you aren't one of the urban liberals, you should understand that, too.
