Good, I like positive news!

I have to admit, the Cruz shenanigans are really getting me down. I used to think that Cruz would be an okay back-up plan if Trump doesn’t get the nomination—but, any more, I realize that there is no way to support Cruz. He represents every stereotype about shady lawyers.

Cruz is an overly ambitious Freshman Senator, with an enormous ego and with messianic delusions fed to him by his father. The GOPe, as evil as they are, are head and shoulders above him in manipulation - they've got 50 years of experience at these things. His arrogance is only surpassed by his inside-the-beltway naivete, thinking he can take on these GOPe "advisors".

He and Kasich will be responsible for handing the nomination to one of the GOPe's picks, who like in '08 and '12, will lose to the Democrat¹. Then the GOPe - who hates Cruz, will seize the opportunity to stab him in the back, blaming him for the Republicans' loss (it's all Kabuki Theater). Win/Win for the GOPe, Lose/Lose for Cruz.

Kasich may not be as brilliant as Cruz, but he's a lot savvier in the ways of politics. I think the GOPe powers-that-be have a cushy position in store for him after all this is over with.

1. The GOPe - a fully-owned subsidiary of the UniParty - wants to lose anyway. This keeps the gravy train rolling for them.

I pray that many many more people will soon feel as you do. It exasperates me how Cruz keeps getting away with every sinister move he makes, all the while in the guise of a man of such religious faith that he has even been chosen. Quite the contrary, he has demonstrated there’s nothing beneath him.
Having read and watched Paul Manafort’s interviews on CNN & Meet The Press, I cannot wait for Mr. Manafort to expose Cruz’ dastardly deeds and take all necessary steps to guarantee Mr. Trump a first ballot nomination in Cleveland!!
