At this point it just doesn’t make much difference; the contest is basically over. Slightly more than two weeks from now Cruz will have no mathematical path to a getting a majority before the convention. At that point Trump can argue correctly that a vote for Cruz is a vote to allow the GOP establishment to decide who the nominee is. At that point a vote for Cruz will mean that nothing in Washington DC will change regardless of whether Hillary or the GOP Stooge wins. We will continue on the path to destruction that has been set by the party bosses.
Trump needs to begin courting Cruz’s followers now. He should announce that his first nominee to the Supreme Court will be Ted Cruz. The Supreme Court is the position where Ted Cruz will be able to help halt the slaughter of millions of unborn babies every year in this country. Then he needs to declare that if people want the Cruz nomination to be successful they will need to vote for Republican Senators. And if they want to him to successfully reform the federal government they will need to support Republican congressmen.
Trump and Cruz must unite if we want to defeat the Democrats. They need to nurture a strong coalition that will allow them to change the direction of the country. That is what the people want. Together we will win.
You are right about unity, but I don’t think Cruz’s GOPe masters will allow that ...they have already struck a deal with Cruz
3 or 4 months, most folks thought Trump/Cruz or Cruz/Trump was thought to be a winning ticket. I hope that finally, after all this ugliness, these two great Americans can sit down man-to-man and sort things out!
