Defend Heidi Cruz

Is Trump the political genius that some have been hinting? Who else, without staff or experience, could rocket to the top of the polls and remain in that perch month after month despite everything? Maybe it’s genius, or maybe its shamelessness. The latter can be mistaken for the former. This week’s new slog in the mud demonstrates one of Trump’s techniques to perfection — he flings filth at an opponent and then invites the docile press to conclude that “both sides” are engaged in unseemly brawling. (This is usually John Kasich’s moment to shake his head sadly and remind voters that, golly gee, he would never do such things.)
The “wife spat” began, as these things always do, with a Trump shiv. An independent PAC, Make America Awesome, published practically nude pictures — fully available in the public domain — of Melania Trump from a GQ photo shoot from the early 2000s, and invited viewers to consider whether someone who posed for such pictures would make an appropriate first lady. Trump then grabbed this small ad as excuse to hurl accusations at one of his opponents (wonder why he didn’t accuse Kasich?), tweeting that he believed Cruz to be responsible for the ad and threatening to “spill the beans” about Heidi Cruz if Cruz weren’t “careful.”
Cruz had nothing to do the the Make America Awesome ad. But before getting to the rest of the imbroglio, and at the risk of seeming utterly Victorian in this sorry time, it seems to me that Melania’s history as a nude model is not completely out of bounds as an election issue for voters. You know GQ came out and republished those pictures of Melania just a few weeks ago. Some on Free Republic think Jeff Roe purchased the picture for the “low rent” meme, and they give this link as proof (https://twitter.com/dovorah001/status/713439069083054080). I don’t even know what this link proves. Anyway, I’d bet the ranch he never purchased any photograph of Melania. The following article doesn’t give any indication that that happened.

That’s a really good question. Inquiring minds want to know. Doubt if she’s OK a check for that amount to an opponent’s campaign without wanting to know why.
The picture of Melania with the Cruz girls was taken at the first debate — long before Iowa when Ted morphed into Lyin’ Ted.
Melania is not involved in the campaign; she’s a stay-at-home mother — without a nanny.
Heidi, OTOH, is a high-level staffer in Cruz’ campaign. She’s part of it. She even refers to the campaign as “us”, “we”, “ours”. A co-president — like HILLARY!
Thanks, the pic speaks volumes. The publisher/owner of National Inquirer is also one of Trump’s best friends and frequently rides wit the conman in his private jet.
That Trump gets the support of so many empty-headed Trumpkins speaks volumes of how this the snake oil salesman has lured his devotees.

You’ve known all day that Savage has accepted Trump’s disavowal of any involvement, but you’re still posting as if that were not the case.

A good indication of the state of FR lately, is I just saw the first F Bomb titled thread (in caps no less) by a Trump supporter. I think that spoke for itself.

I believe spouses are NOT off limits. It was perfectly fine to bring up what Bill Clinton has done and said, the same goes for Michele Obama, and yes, even Heidi Cruz.
However, it is not okay to pick on a spouses looks. That is the difference. Trump has a pattern of picking on women's looks. It speaks volumes about him. He is a pig, and more than half the women in the country know it.
It is that reason that he would lose in a landslide.

Poor Teddy Bares. Melania has never been a "porn star". She is a beautiful woman, a model, and a successful businesswoman. If you look at the alleged nude pics on the web, they are mostly fake photoshops. Trump has an open life. He has talked about everything in his past and hidden nothing. Why should he?
I look forward to watching the Trump's in the White House. She will be a most gracious First Lady and surely one of the best looking ones we ever had. Here is a pic that reveals more than the one released by the Teddy PAC.
