I doubt whether there are many publications that have been sued as often as the National Enquirer. The specifics in the article would open them up for huge liabilities.
The Enquirer’s initial John Edwards story was published at the end of 2007. It wasn’t until July 2008 that the main stream media finally jumped on it. Edwards didn’t admit until January of 2010 that the baby was actually his. When it is a Democrat it takes a long time for these things to actually be accepted even when they are true. For Cruz, a conservative Republican corroborating details will probably surface much more quickly.
There have been rumors of something along these lines for months. I doubt whether it has anything to do with Trump’s wife’s modeling past being used pro Cruz operatives in Utah, but Trump’s opponents do seem to be hit hard after they draw first blood.

It’s almost like a cat toying with a mouse.
Wonderful facts and analysis. I think you see what I see but you are much more cogent. I,on the other hand , am giddy with schadenfreude at the demise of the phoney SOB.
