OK. That's fine. But I'm not just trying to be a smartypants here. This is serious stuff and it deserves a serious debate.
And your post about the Tariff Act of 1789 was a worthy addition to that discussion.
So I looked up the Wiki and I found this at the end of the article. It looks like they were having the same argument you and I are having way back then. It's worth reading just for the background it provides about the reaction to the passing of the Tariff Act. There is at least a hint that it was step one on the way to the Civil War. Not everybody loved it.

You are the one spewing non-sense, must be a union member. I’m referring to compaing leaving the country. Bob and Mary’s Diner is moving to Mexico and leaving their 15 employees without a job. Joe’s Sporting Goods won’t move to Mexico and leave their 50 employees jobless.
But Nabisco, a unionized bakery will move to Mexico and hire non-union bakers.
Since the price of Oreos will remain the same it is in my best interest that the factory stays in the USA. As a tax payer I am now burdened with a welfare bill for no benefit. There are many R-T-W states that Nabisco could have chosen. So f you and f Nabisco.
