The biggest eye opener of the Republican presidential candidate campaign has been the reaction of those whose giant egos have been thwarted by reality. Opinionated pundits, who expect their word to be law, have been driven mad with rage at Trump’s rise in the polls. And I’m not just talking about selected Freepers. Megyn Kelly, Dana Loesch, Glenn Beck etc would rather destroy their credibility with dishonest attacks on Trump, than see anyone rather than their preferred candidate win the nomination. Now the virus has spread to the well known Ace of Spades website. The thread posted above includes:

1. blaming Trump for his ‘beat ‘em up for me rhetoric’ (which doesn’t exist);

2. advice to Cruz on his disastrous response to the Chicago violence (too late, you can’t put the pin back in the grenade);

3.confirmation that the biggest concern from Chicago is whether the Soros Brownshirts might contribute to more Trump support: ‘I am very opposed to Trump and I fear this new Social Justice Warrior convulsion ..’

4. calling Trump a ‘weird, power-loving authoritarian’ .. ‘a power-loving, force-worshipping personality type’ .. and saying ‘We are going to get our asses kicked unholy by Hillary Clinton in November.’

That last line says it all. It’s what Dana, Megyn, Glenn, and Ace actually want, because only that disaster will validate their superiority complex. And I note that, in the sidebar, the moderator threatens posters with more bannings if they don’t toe the anti Trump line. My way or the highway, that fits the profile. I’ll take the highway, because these egomaniacal traitors don’t deserve a single mouse click.

Cruz should have just said the first part of his statement and left out the “but”. It would have been classy and right, and would have earned him a lot of respect. But he couldn’t resist the sleazy cheap shot. Now he’s just DetesTed!

Yep, I deleted the Ace Of Spades link from my browser last night. I am very disappointed that these bloggers wouldn’t stay fairly neutral towards the candidates they do not favor. They could do that while promoting their favorite. Instead they chose to go full jackass even to the point of insulting MANY of their regular long time readers. It’s like they are frothing at the mouth. I hate to mention this, but the worst of them are a few Cruz supporters. It’s the same thing that bugs me about Rubio and Cruz - they spend capitol trying to tell you how idiotic you are for thinking about voting for Trump, rather than convincing you why you should vote for them.

Sure, Trump calls Rubio a Little Fellow, Cruz “lying Ted”, Jeb! “low energy”, and doesn’t even bother much with Kashish - but he isn’t telling his supporters that those guys will destroy the world - just that they won’t fix what needs to be fixed. And he will. There really is a difference.
