You know who Trump offends with his cursing?

Answer: Other people.

You and I are not offended because we are awesome, and above it. We don’t get offended for dumb ass reasons. But we are quite certain that other people need protection from naughty words. I don’t know the names of any of those people, but surely they must exist. And I hope they live in bubbles because the world has a lot of awful words and ideas waiting for them in the real world.

Let’s stop pretending that other adults are offended by language. That isn’t a thing. We are offended ON BEHALF of people we imagine would be offended. But those people do not exist. Stop imagining offended people. ---->Continued

I’m really hoping that the term “Maturity Snob” catches on

Another attack on conservatives:
if we want to get people off welfare we're racist
if we want to define marriage as one man/one woman we're homophobic
if we want to control our borders we're xenophobic
if we want to win the war on terrorism we're islamophobic
and now, if we want our presidential candidates to act like adults we're "maturity snobs"

I expect to be attacked by the commie libtards but the Trump phenomenom has opened up a new attack flank: the Trump 'conservatives' attacking real conservatives.

Now you’re just being difficult. This is getting to be a real chore here. I really think that the ‘saltier’ a dog our next President is, the better he can preserve the integrity of the Office and prevent the Constitution from decomposing, not to mention the eradication of ISIS/ISIL/al Qaeda...There’s nothing wrong or unnatural about our next POTUS having the general theme “Make America Great Again” with an underlying “No More Mr. Nice Guy” sub-theme to his campaign, especially with all that is at stake. I’d like to have the Democrats be defeated in a massive landslide. No more of that “too close to call” baloney. Now that I think of it, the worlds greatest maturity snob is Barack Obama. If not Obama, somebody else in politics, education, sports and entertainment, media and maybe even the military.

Sure, but why "offended"? That's a red herring. Try "disappointed" or "disgusted."

People nowadays focus too much on what's "offensive" -- what should or shouldn't be "allowed." What they miss is that many people are quietly turned off by stuff. They don't protest or get indignant, but they do stop listening and they aren't going to be in your corner when it matters.
