Better Business Bureau Issues Corrections On Trump University Stories
The Daily Caller ^ | 03/08/2016 | Steve Birr

The Better Business Bureau responded to a slew of what it deemed misinformation Tuesday, clarifying that Trump University only received an A+ rating from the group after complaints dropped as the business drew down operations.

The BBB said in a statement that it did not provide any documents or comment to Fox News moderators for Thursday night’s debate. In the debate Megyn Kelly challenged Donald Trump on his previous claims that Trump University, a program which offered courses on real estate and investing, had an A rating with the BBB. Kelly said records showed Trump University had a D- ranking from the BBB, drastically contradicting Trump’s claim, reports Business Insider.

“We are issuing a further statement today, in response to a number of inaccurate reports that continue to be repeated,” read the press release from the BBB. “Trump University does not currently have an A rating with BBB. The BBB Business Review for this company has continually been ‘No Rating’ since September 2015. Prior to that, it fluctuated between D- and A+.”

...

The BBB explained that the fluctuation between D- and A+ were due to a drop in complaints following 2013, when Trump University stopped being an active organization. While Trump University was “active in the marketplace” and had a lot of customers there were a significant number of complaints leading to a D- ranking, however after 2013 when enrollment dropped significantly, complaints fell and led to an adjusted A+ ranking.

For all the displaced/unemployed people in the USA the Trump administration will be offering vouchers to Trump University.

This happens with EVERY company, so again, a big to-do about NOTHING!

Not every company has a D- Rating at any time. The problem is that Trump would go to all that trouble to support such an inconsequential lie.

Yep, and Trump will publish the Survey Cards they filled out saying that the Course was wonderful.

That’s why one of the Original five Plaintiff’s dropped out of the Suit, to avoid the Perjury Trap.

In the end, the only people that will make the big bucks in the Lawsuit will be the Lawyers, as happens in all Class Action Suits.

The Class Participants will probably end up with a $10 Gift Coupon to buy Trump Water or a Make America Great Again Hat.

Stopping illegals is more important than the idiocy of making an issue about whether TRUMP’s company had a A B C or D rating. It is totally pure BUSLLSHT that anyone would even make this an issue.

FWIW, I worked for an “Educational” Company very much like Trump University but a different industry.

They SELL a dream and very few candidates have the ability to actually succeed. Understand that it is all about selling classes and more classes to dreamers that may or may not have the resources to pay. They will finance.

The education they get is actually very very good. And as a result, the vast majority of their Graduates will never say anything bad about them. Their failure, to a man, is not in what they learned or the money they spent but in their own personal inability to follow the rules.

Objectively, It’s a racket.

The ‘university’ - a get rich quick scam - is defunct.

So vouchers would be fake.

Sort of like the steaks.

Seriously, though, you would have to ask yourself why a billionaire real estate mogul would run such small cons and attach his name to them. That has to be some ego and now he is running the biggest con that ever was.

It may be true that you can't fool all the people all the time, but you can fool enough of them to rule a large country.

Running the long con is most important and this is the biggest con that ever was. And those in the process of being swindled avow the con the loudest.

This added clarification still needs another clarification.

"While Trump University was “active in the marketplace” and had a lot of customers there were a significant number of complaints leading to a D- ranking, however after 2013 when enrollment dropped significantly, complaints fell and led to an adjusted A+ ranking"

Complete BS. It CLOSED in 2010 and the BBB would have zero information regarding "enrollment". Nearly all the complaints filed with BBB we're AFTER it closed. The rating fluctuated during those years as refunds were issued and complaints closed by the BBB.
