Marie,
You can split hairs all you want as to whether Duke “endorsed” him or not... when virtually all reports on the matter state “endorsed”, vs “said nice things about”... chances are... it’s an endorsement.
I never said anything about Trump failing to disavow “all white supremacist groups,” so that’s a red herring to this discussion. “Oath keepers” are not an issue here. David Duke is.
I too would like to know when the dems are going to apologize for the creation of the KKK.
“Enjoy Hillarys reign. Youre responsible for it. Youre giving the left every talking point that they could ever want for the general.”
I realize that’s the new talking point of the Trumpette troops, ok? Oppose Trump at this point, you’re “helping Hillary.” Nothing could be further from the truth. What will ultimately help Hillary is Trump himself... his statements, his background and his shapeshifting policy stances. I have said many times on this forum, my vote in November will be against Hillary.
Much as I detest Trump, Hillary is even more detestable... so I will — once again — go to the lesser of two evils and cast my vote against her, even if it means that selection will have Trump’s name next to it. Got it?
But until the primary is settled, I will loudly oppose Trump. I don’t like him or trust him.
Sessions said nice things about Cruz, but endorsed Trump.
An endorsement is to put your name behind someone.
Duke did not do this.
Levin said nice things about Trump, but ultimately ENDORSED Cruz.
Huck has been defending Trump a LOT lately, but he hasn’t ENDORSED him. As Huck has been speaking so positively about Trump, should we just count that as an endorsement in your eyes?
So if you want to wrap it all into one bundle, then you’ve got to hand Trump almost every politician and talking head that said, “He’s bringing issues to the forefront like no one else can.” “Trump is great for the Republican party.” etc last summer.
No. Duke did not endorse Trump and he’s publicly stating so.
