Obama’s mother was 18 when she had Obama. She needed to be 19 for the U.S. residency stipulation for Barry to qualify as an NBC. Mrs. Cruz was 36 at Ted’s birth and had resided in the U.S. the number of years required by the statute.
If you have to debate number of years, it doesn’t seem natural. Of course you can make an argument for anyone, I suppose. I doubt anyone could argue against someone born here of two American citizens, though.

Ted Cruz is a naturalized U.S. citizen and is not a natural born citizen of the United States. Naturalized U.S. citizens like Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio are not lawfully eligible to be POTUS. In the U.S. Supreme court case, United States v. Wong Kim Ark, 169 U.S. 649, 18 S.Ct. 456, 42 L.Ed. said “A person born out of the jurisdiction of the United States can only become a citizen by being naturalized....”
