If you are a conservative, you would already know this and the authors piece would not be upsetting you.

This conservative talk from pubbies is election time tomfoolery. They have been running this scam for 30 years. The Party has been absolutely and completely co-opted; from the Party leaders on down to the rank-in-file members. There is not one shred of anything even remotely recognizable as conservativism. My point is, Conservativism is an ideology without a party. Just an idea, a great idea, but right now, just an idea.
