Ask yourself if China demanded Apple open the phone would already be opened.
There is no way that the Chinese will allow Apple to sell a phone that is unbreakable. What happens if the state of NY says providers in NY cannot sell unbreakable? Why should criminals or politicians like Hillary be allowed to have unbreakable devices?
Not likely. The first such demand would set the precedent Apple is trying to avoid here.
