A win in any form for the GOP is a major victory. We need the WH more than ever. If we don’t get it this time, it may be generations before anyone but a Dem occupies the WH.
I think it is an illusion that we have anything like a generation to fix these problems. One of the most necessary repairs is to the Judiciary, and that is one which I do not think Trump will perform.
If I could trust him on that, I would support him wholeheartedly, but It would be counter to the behavior I have come to expect from North Eastern Urbanites.
I think Trump will fix a lot of things, but I just don't think he will fix the judiciary.
But we won't have a "generation." I doubt we'll have a decade, and i'm seeing ominous signs that we might not even have a year.
