Is anyone else troubled by the emerging narratives of what will happen, when Scalia has only been deceased for one day?

Within hours of his passing yesterday, cable news was full of speculation and talk about political calculus involved in appointing a new justice, whether theGOP would permit an Obama nominee to be appointed, Harry Reid came out and said he expects a new nominee to be swiftly confirmed by the Senate, etc.

Anyone else troubled that we can’t even pause for a few days to mourn a great American???

There is a time and place for everything, including the political battles and strategies involved in filling this Supreme Court vacancy.

Just seems to me that the time and place for that discussion is not when the body of the deceased justice is still warm.

Troubled ? That’s cause we think there could be a bottom. For the RATs, their bottom has a trap door.
Think back to the Paul Wellstone Memorial.

As Jolson said, “You heard nothin yet”
