Why on earth would they consider his son? I know nothing about him, but if he was anything like his father was that would be the last thing the left wants. So why would Reid, Bush, and Obama consider this move? (What does Jeb have to do with anything, anyways?)

Furthermore, why would *we* consider his son? As if this country doesn’t already have a political dynasty problem. It is foolish to assume that just because he is Scalia’s son that he will actually be anything like Scalia was if and when he made it to the SCOTUS.

Well-posted. Thank you. The Founding Fathers fought to stop the hereditary accumulation of political power. They were right then and they are right now.
