Well there is no proof that Trump will do that. There is proof that Cruz did it already with his support and vote of John Roberts.

Trump has not failed. Cruz failed miserably.

Trump has not failed. Cruz failed miserably.

Where to begin...

1. Roberts is one of the four Conservatives in the 4-4-1 composition of SCOTUS
2. Cruz was 33 at the time he was asked about the nomination (2005)... and they worked together successfully on Bush v Palm Bech County and Bush v Gore in 2000. What exactly would you expect him to say when a co-worker on a Conservtive cause gets that nomination?
3. Trump's utter lack of SCOTUS experience does not trump (pun intended) Cruz's vast SCOTUS experience, no matter how you spin it.

Is everything about Cruz with you? I have never said I supported Cruz, but

Trump's idea of a good Supreme Court justice: his sister and Laurence Tribe.

Trump said Scalia was "too tough" on black people" because he supported Affirmative Action.

Trump claims he liked Clarence Thomas. But if he doesn't like Affirmative Action, he would like Clarence Thomas even worse than he liked Scalia.

The ONLY issue Trump has mentioned with regards to the Supreme Court is Affirmative Action, so I think that shows where his litmus tests will be.

TRUMP VOWS "FORWARD MOTION" ON GAY "EQUALITY"

I think the rightmost we could expect from a nominee would be someone like Breyer.

#24 You are a flat out Liar.

Ted Cruz was not in the Senate when Roberts was nominated! So he had no vote.

Anything else you post on this site is suspect if you can’t get that right!
