As for being Status quo? Well he's half right. There is nothing status quo about Trump.
Ben. Really?
Carson must still have some book inventory to move before bailing out. The next word I want to hear from his mouth is, “Geronimo!”
Yep. Funny, Carson is more of the status quo than Trump. There’s always a few also-rans who only get in it to sell books, and put no serious effort or organization into getting out the vote.
I hope Ben is ready for The Trump “your a child molester” sleeze attack again.
Trump and Carson are the clear outsiders remaining.
Cruz is an outsider in the sense that, even though a Senator, he’s not been well-received.
Just go home Ben.
He has absolutely no other reason to remain: support going down; blowing through his donor's money faster than other candidates who are drawing much higher percentages not only in polls but even in Iowa and NH!
Scammers like Huckabee stay long enough and take sniper shots from the sidelines to pump up one of his rivals, while tearing down the reputations of others (anyone who is still fooled into believing Huck is anything other than a scam artist, choose to do so on the basis of no evidence.)
Yeah, technically he is an “outsider”. He’s “outside” the primary state doing his laundry.
Trump is the status quo. Cruz has proven he is not.
Come back in 4 years Rafael!
I think Ben is still looking for the grain storage in the Pyramids.
I worry that status quo is precisely what Trump will be once in power. I don’t see him doing as much damage as Obama is or Clinton or Sanders would do, but on most fronts he’s not that different from “moderate” Republicans like Bush.
I don’t see any evidence he plans to head the nation back in the direction of the Constitution, for instance, or otherwise disempower the government. At best, I think he might be a Regan, who improves things short term and slows the death spiral considerable, but doesn’t make any fundamental changes that might reverse direction.
Although to be honest, I haven’t seen any Trump plans that will significantly improve the economy. Clearing out illegal aliens and changing the rules for legal immigrants to make it harder for them to take jobs will not create jobs, just change who holds the current ones. And if it adds governmentally required paperwork, it could even hinder job creation.
As much as I loath guido Trump, he’s not status quo.
