In February 2014, Washington replaced Ukrainian democracy with fascism in Europeâs heartland - illegitimately installed officials waging war on their own people.
Fundamental human and civil rights were abolished. Police state viciousness replaced them. Regime critics risk prosecution, sentencing, imprisonment or assassination.
Two years after fascists seized power, conditions for ordinary Ukrainians are deplorable. According to Germanyâs daily broadsheet Junge Welt, theyâre âstaggering.â
âSince the end of the Yanukovych era, the average income has decreased by 50%,â it reported - on top of 2015âs 44% inflation, nearly reducing purchasing power by half, making it impossible for most Ukrainians to get by.
Theyâre suffering hugely, deeply impoverished, denied fundamental social services, abolished or greatly reduced en route to eliminating them altogether.
Ukraineâs economy is bankrupt, teetering on collapse, sustained by US-controlled IMF loans, violating its longstanding rules, a special dispensation for Ukraine.
It loaned billions of dollars to a deadbeat borrower unable to repay them, an unprecedented act, funding its war machine, turning a blind eye to a hugely corrupt regime persecuting its own people.
Ukraineâs GDP is in near free-fall, contracting by 12% last year, projected to continue declining sharply this year and beyond.

Your statement begins with a false premise. The article which you posted is from an extremely vile anti-American website. You now appear to be demanding that I treat as true whatever filth is written there and then try to defend against it. Better to ask yourself why you are treating as truthful a website such as that.
The internal affairs of Russia are internal so long as they remain within Russia. When instead Russia sends thousands of troops into a neighboring country, including hordes of murdering Muslims from Chechnya, they are no longer Russia’s internal affairs.
Nice map. You keep making the same rookie mistake of confusing Russian speaking Ukrainians with ethnically Russian Ukrainians. This was the same nonsense used by Putin to justify his war against Ukraine.
What war against Ukraine? If Putin wanted to Ukraine would look like Syria.
You’re assuming that those Russian-speaking Ukrainian citizens want to be part of Putin’s oligarchy.
IS THIS TRUE? Or is it just Russian Propaganda? The Truth seems in short supply these days. If True-—we should pull out of Ukraine, If not we should move in and help fix them into a successful democratic state. Peace is needed—or Free Elections.
So they become the affair of the USA, specifically Victoria Nuland and Samantha Power?
So, the answer is we either support Putin or we support the Obama admin running rogue over there and trying to set up new leaders?
I’m sorry, I don’t accept those as the choices.
