Your post is brilliant and funny. I don’t care about True Conservatism right now; it’s like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. We need someone to fight our oligarchy and he won’t be perfect but he HAS TO BE very independently resourced (at least a few billion) to keep him safe from blackmail and traps. No other billionaire has voiced their concern about the state of the country and offered himself up to try and help. I don’t care if Trump was flying a Dem flag. The two parties are mostly one team anyway.
It’s masturbatory to think choosing the most conservative in his heart nominee is anything but a distraction for us.

Well I’ve been listening to him since 1992 and I have not heard him criticize Trump once!! Only that he shouldn’t hit Cruz with his Canadian BS.. I could criticize Trump on a lot of things he says.. Trump attacks people the wrong way.. That is why his poll numbers against Bernie and Hillary are so low actually Hillary is beating him and Bernie destroys him head to head!!!
I listen to him daily and he has never said he believes Cruz is a fake Chistian or conservative. Quite the opposite. He wants them all to get along and quit splitting the conservatives up. He doesn’t another RINO nominee.
And if his suspicions are right...your still for Trump? That should bother you If your conservative.

He is not endorsing anyone if he says something nice about a candidate. He has said nice things about many of them. It is obvious he loves Trump's in your face against the establishment, as well as Cruz' consistency. He will never tell us who he is going to vote for in the primary.
I think you should stop listening. You obviously have no ability to understand simple talk. You are so invested and have so much angst about your candidate, that any perceived cough or sneeze in the wrong direction leads you to accuse. A simpleton, you are.
Besides, Rush has always said his influence is overrated. He has said if his influence is so great, why is Obama president.
He has always said to vote for the most conservative candidate that can win the general election. In fact, he has been so nice to Trump that many people thought he had endorsed him...but they are simpletons, too.

Oh yeah, let's not forget Lifelock, Sherri's Berry's (yes, they are back after dissing him after the Slut comment), Simply Safe Home Alarm Systems, I-drive Computer Backup and Tax Defense Partners.

He hardly ever anymore chooses pro-Trump callers. Notice him today and tomorrow; he will be exalting Cruz while claiming he is neutral while trying to affect the outcome in New Hampshire.

I have heard Rush say that Trump believes what he says and that he is now what he has always been.

Agree, except I have never heard him utter a syllable of criticism of Cruz; it is always that Cruz is conservative perfection, almost divine. He will completely ignore or spin away whatever anyone else is criticizing Cruz for.
In fact, you might say he just flat out lied away the controversy concerning the Carson deal.

I have noticed that Rush uses this ploy:
1. We need a conservative candidate.
2. Conservatism wins every time it is tried.
3. He then will emphasize who he considers to be conservative.
4. Trump is not listed.
There is all kinds of deviousness and deception embedded in that. I use to listen to Rush, now I find myself monitoring him.
Someone’s trying to get famous by name dropping.
Rush is solid. He isn’t propping up anyone nor is he secretly endorsing anyone. The lunatic fringe here need some serious medical attention.
Rush has been very disappointing with all of purported “conflicts†like knowing Megyn Kelly, Roger Ailes, the Bush family, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Ben Carson and Donald Trump.

I would be really surprised if he did NOT know all of these people.
They’re all in the same line of work (big media, big politics), which is Rush’s stock in trade.
