There’s “fighting” and there’s reducing impact. Cruz’ s involvement - if you want to be generous- may have reduced impact, had he been the least bit effective. Which he was not.
It happened, get over it and hope caesons people do not release a stupid press release next time, that is if he is still a candidate after tuesday. Otherwise, carson can go home, all his jammies are there in florida.
Cruz was in a bind. He knew he would need the base rubes to plot a run that was already in the works for the presidency.
Certainly Cruz had to make an appearance and lay some kind of light glove on the issue. His use of legalese has kept him viable but without any real commitment to doing anything.
His intention is to agree to work for both sides, to slide it in and up the middle, by establishing a “record” of opposing this and opposing that, and supporting this and that, which commits him to actually *doing* nothing, but leaves him CLEARLY triangulating the issue, and pleases the stupid people.
