Yup, the SC would slap them down within 24 hours.
The supreme court would be more likely to rule that he is ineligible and, in expressing that opinion, would likely set a precedent that would make Marco Rubio (or any other anchor baby) eligible. The last place we want this is in front of the SCOTUS.
24 hours? The judges would slap on their Attends and run straight down to Supreme Court headquarters and come to Ted's assistance immediately. This whole thing could be cleared up in an hour. Everyone knows the Supreme Court and Ted Cruz are like incredible buds.
Except you have absolutely nothing to base that one other than wishful thinking. In reality, the combined forces of the DNC (publically) and the RNC (behind the scenes) would do everything possible to drag out a court proceeding to either run out the election clock or to discredit Cruz as much as possible. They won’t use this nuclear option unless Cruz gets the nomination of course.
RE: Yup, the SC would slap them down within 24 hours.
Depends on which side of the bed either John Roberts or Anthony Kennedy wakes up in the morning.
We already know how Sotomayor, Kagan, Ginsburg and Breyer will rule.
Absolutely correct.
He is completely eligible to be POTUS.
These birther folks need to move on... Defeat the man on his conservative record and policy stances if you disagree, not on this nonsense.
Of course, they can’t, and the chief birther himself is nothing more than a liberal hack lying his face off, which of course is why they attack Cruz on idioms which are irrelevant.
Don’t be so sure of that. Remember there are 4 leftist judges on that court and John Roberts, who gave us Obamacare. He will do whatever he is told to do by Obama.
