Read my further posts and comment. Russia and Turkey will not go to war. Possibly there could be some minor skirmishes near the Turkish border, or they could shoot down a plane or something, but now war.

Russia is only in the area to keep Assad in power, on Iran and their behalf. Putin would be pushing his luck to get militarily involved outside of the Russosphere. And NATO would have to react strongly if Russia went to war with Turkey.

Russia and Turkey have fought about a dozen wars with each other. I don't think either one wants to fight again. However, Russia is deploying a significant number of aircraft to Erebuni. Would hope cooler heads prevail.

NATO is good at subjugating a tiny country like Serbia or bombing the starch out of the sand-savages in Libya but Russia? I don't think either group wants that, although there is bluster aplenty.

Will do; for now I have to go walk the dog.

From my post #43:

And if that doesn't do it, don't be surprised if Russia arms these missiles with tactical nukes - Putin has already hinted that it might become necessary to use them. And, IMO, Putin will do what ever it takes to keep Syria from becoming an Islamic state - even if it means the total destruction of Syria (Isaiah 17).

That's where you're wrong...NATO has no obligation to defend Turkey if it becomes a belligerent in Syria.

I doubt the Euroweenies are up to the task anyhow.
