A major war, on many fronts, does seem inevitable.
Lol. Well at least he spelled the countries’ names right, even if he doesn”’t have a clue.
Well a statement like that, by you, deserves at least some hint of your opposing view. :-)
Yeah, it’s WWI all over again. I’m going
to go out back of the house and dig a trench.
Won’t be caught off guard this time!
This brings up two questions. Should NATO kick out Turkey or should the US leave NATO?
Yes.
Go to Germany and look around —Turkish people have invaded and destroyed Europe’s most productive country.
Why should a SINGLE American soldier die for them..?
The idea is ridiculous.
Better to let the last Turk fall on the battlefield at the same times as the last Russian soldier.
Let them beat each other to dust.
Not a bad idea, especially if taken to the hidden underground version the Vietcong were known for. ;-)
You mean the North Africa Terrorist Organization?
I draw the line at Cacotopia.
In reality, I think it means the last fang of Nato will be yanked out. Turkey s going Islamunistic. Syria with Russian help is fighting to remain a secular dictatorship. On the other hand who knows with Obama. He does have a penchant for choosing the most damaging solution for the U.S
More like Moonbat...
As well as those with interests in plain ol' foreign policy, current events, the price of gasoline, and the value of hearing from former Muslim converts to Christianity.
Thanks for posting Shoebat's take on things.
Remember to put a few zigs and zags in that trench. That was something the WW I combatants learned early on.
Why?
I like Shoebat’s worldview, but a lot of what he says turns out to not be true.
Hopefully the Russians win and rename Istanbul back to Constantinople.
Obama has said he will side with the Muslims when things turn ugly. So maybe Obama intends to unite the two sides of Islam (the Shias and Sunnis) against the West?
Unless Russia counters Turkey's move by invading Turkey itself, WWIII's not happening, because NATO primarily commits to defending the territorial integrity of its members against foreign aggression. I don't think anyone believes that Syria is part of NATO, and Russian defensive actions against Turkey in Syria aren't exactly foreign aggression.
What might happen is that the Russians might test NATO's resolve by flattening Turkish air bases with ballistic or cruise missiles. My suspicion is that NATO won't respond with missiles against Russian air bases.
This guy needs to sue his high school. Russia did not win them all. Ever hear of the Crimean War? That was the most famous and the Turkish side won. Also, it wasn't their first victory.
I reject his contention that Turkey is going to war with Russia. But if they were, that would be all the more reason NATO would keep Turkey in. After all, wasn't their a reason that England was intervening on the side of Turkey in the 19th century.
