Question for Bernie: What makes you think you can make Socialism work when everyone else who has ever tried has failed.
Speaking of scam artists, socialism needs to be repackaged and marketed to each succeeding generation of useful idiots, as well as older leftists too thickheaded and/or stupid to realize it's failings as something new and REVOLUTIONARY. Just like those sleazy late night infomercial pushing what's really the same old get-rich-quick scams. Like selling real estate with "little or no money down". Or how to make a killng in stocks regardless of market conditions. Or selling the latest snake oil while recruiting a downline, or some other unworkable mathematically impossible MLM/pyramid racket. They'll tell you how you've seen other systems in the past fail miserably, that's because they were implemented wrong, by the WRONG people, but THEY have a PROVEN SYSTEM that really works. Just trust them and follow the program and blah blah blah. Sound familiar?
