Cruz was being asked about all the crazy tweets coming out of Trump today
When asked if he thought Trump was being "funny" Cruz claimed, "I think they're very funny. I think Donald, I wake up every day and laugh at the latest thing Donald has Tweeted because he's losing it. Look, we need a commander in chief, not a Twitterer in chief."
"We need someone with judgment and the temperament to keep this country safe. I don't know anyone who would be comfortable with someone who behaves this way having his finger on the button," Cruz claimed. "I mean, we're liable to wake up one morning and Donald, if he were president would have nuked Denmark. That's not the temperament of a leader to keep this country safe."
BTW, I agree with Cruz. The Trump the night of the Iowa caucus had my attention again because it looked like he was going to settle down and be serious.......then off he goes again on ridiculous rants.
Thanks for the “transcript”. I think most people look at the headline and go straight for the “Cruz is an idiot - why would Trump nuke Denmark?”
Now if I was Denmark - I might be insulted. “What - you think we are weak? Benign? Just a small peaceful country that no one would ever think of attacking?”
I just hope Cruz never says anything like “And so they threw them under the bus.”
