Kush, the picture is funny! Unfortunately, anyone who does a little research on Cruz’s people will find that it is not actually a laughing matter. I wish it were not this way.
My real turning point was when Sarah Palin who knows them both chose Trump over Cruz. There are very few people I trust in politics, not my cousin who is a politician, the former mayor of my town who is a fellow historian, not the politicians I meet at the Ronald Reagan Club, and not even those who helped my family in an eminent domain battle that resulted in my parents losing over $2,000,000 in their retirement assets and leaving them in ongoing financial difficulties. I don’t trust any of them. But I do trust Sarah Palin. I do not know her directly, but I have close friends who do. She is about the only politician that I do still trust and she endorsed Trump over Cruz.
To paint this as some nefarious scheme is ludicrous on it's face, it is what it is, and is easily seen through. If you don't think that there aren't a lot of Trump's people here doing the same thing, then you aren't paying attention. They are all here, because they know the power of this site. As far as Palin goes, endorsements mean squat to me, I vote for the candidate, not the surrogate. The only endorsement that would sway me would be from Christ himself, and I don't see him coming in the clouds to weigh in on this election. We are on our own on this one.
As a side bar, I find it interesting that you support Trump, considering his stance on Kelo, and the brief history you give in your reply. To each his own, I guess. We all have our reasons for who we support, and we haven't had a perfect candidate since Washington, so I get it. It is officially wabbit season, after all...
