What does Cruz want to replace it with?
Heck, I’m a Cruz guy first, but he will never get away with eliminating an Entitlement without something to take it’s place. I’m 62 and I have never seen an Entitlement just disappear.
As far as I know, Trump wants to use Free Market solutions such as allowing competition across State Lines, just like the Republican Party has been parroting for years.
Al this Single Payer talk is just that. We already have Single Payer. We just call it Medicaid, Medicare or VA Medical.
Cruz has talked about a free market solution, allowing consumers to purchase policies across state lines. Not by any means a panacea, but definitely a step in the right direction

I don't think you could call Obamacare an entitlement. For some, yes, it reduces the monthly cost, albeit at the cost of higher deductibles, for others, enormous rises in the premiums. Remember, the ones you cited are somewhat popular. Obamacare has never held that distinction.

Like I stated earlier, I know Cruz wants to go that route. As far as Trump, not so sure, I have heard him say private, and I have definitely heard him say the govt should provide.

And we've all seen what a roaring success that has been. Especially at wrecking the treasury. Just my two cents.
