Testimony at a hearing before the House Science Committeeâs Subcommittee on Space suggested that NASAâs Journey to Mars lacks a plan to achieve the first human landing on the Red Planet almost six years after President Obama announced the goal on April 15, 2010. Moreover, two of the three witnesses argued that a more realistic near term goal for the space agency would be a return to the moon. The moon is not only a scientifically interesting and potentially commercially profitable place to go but access to lunar water, which can be refined into rocket fuel, would make the Journey to Mars easier and cheaper.

I can think of several brain dead females that probably still dream about the wun. I’ve made it a point to have little to zero contact with them whenever possible.
I wonder if the folks at youtube are happy with themselves now?
NASA couldn’t plan a mission to the bathroom, but they have plenty of money to woo muzzies.
Oh for the days when NASA had get to the moon ASAP engineers.
Not Attempting Space Anymore
And hence, we lost two seats at SCOTUS to boot.
There is no reason to go to Mars except for bragging rights, just like going to the moon. No mineral on Mars or the moon would justify the expense of sending men there. For many technical, financial, biological and psychological reasons, we are not going to colonize them. Western civilization (the likeliest to explore space) could already could be at its high-water mark and may succumb to the pressures of an overcrowded world, scarce resources and might even be too apathetic to defend itself against masses of 3rd world “immigrants” and terrorists.
We already know more about Mars than we knew about the moon not too many years ago. Robotic exploration remains the most practical way to explore distant objects.
Excuse me but this female has six children who are being raised to love this country and to expect me to expect them to do great things. I was too young to vote against Obama in 2008 but I voted against him in 2012. Too bad the white males of 2012 didn’t give me a candidate I wanted to vote FOR.
Let’s hope you guys don’t screw it up again for 2016.

They are more interested in their outreach program to goat humpers.
You left out some words, which would ring truer:
“..to ever see an American walk on the moon again.”
