Im betting that there will be a great number of people who are sorely disappointed by this latest development.

There were at least two incidents where the candidate stated that he would not leave the party to run independently.....unless he was “treated unfairly”. This will provide him an excuse to make that claim of mistreatment and the “reason” to bolt the party.

I think you are right. He can’t run as third party but can run as an independent—is that correct? Just like Bloomberg is planning. We may be looking at a Billionaire vs. Billionaire vs. Democrat(socialist) vs. Republican election.

Based on his comments after Iowa — that he’s self-funded and the voters don’t appreciate that, and also said it’s not worth it — I’m not so sure he goes for a 3rd party run (unless he gets $$$ from somewhere else).

But if that happens, I hope and pray he’s abandoned in droves.

Otherwise, the United States will officially stop circling the drain as we’re washed into the sewer.
