how can you assume that all of carson’s voters would have gone exclusively to cruz? on what basis?

isn’t that a bit of a stretch?

there is no statistical validity to that assumption.

I get it...people are upset about this, but lets not lose our critical thinking skills.

I live in Iowa...and I am engaged in the political scene here. I can tell you this, for a FACT:

there is little fire here in IA for Ben carson. he is not that popular here. he finished 4th in this caucus, and his vote totals, by county, were consistently...4th, by percentage. little variation across the state, county to county.

this was a non-issue, in my opinion.

I never said that or posted it. You posted it. That says more about you than anyone else.

The fact is, Carson is popular with evangelical voters. For many, he is their first choice, with Cruz the second choice.
