I saw it. It was like watching an action movie except it was real. I kept reminding myself of that fact. Extremely brave men, and the CIA guy who kept saying “stand down” actually got an award. Something is wrong with this, it’s upside down.

You have to give the filmmaker credit for not overplaying his hand. It was bad enough. Typical action thriller louder bangs and computer graphics would have cheapened it. It his the right notes, quietly, like "the banality of evil."

The cinematography was excellent. Little touches were so powerful. I have been haunted by the overhead shots of the embassy compound, where the green grass around the swimming pool was being watered by sprinklers. This, in the middle of a desert country of considerable squalor.

The other imagery that was powerful were the ragged pieces of plastic hanging all over, blowing in the wind like lung tissue, and the dark figures sneakiing around under them. Haunting.

My only problem was how hard it was to understand the dialogue. Don't know if it was because the theater turns the sound up so loud, or just what. It was hard to understand what they were saying.
