You do realize that most every post of yours leads the reader to believe it must be “backwards” day, in your alternate reality, right?
I don’t disagree. Ignoring the issues and making personal attacks its the realm of Trump. It is where he’s in his element, and it would be hard to beat him there. Meanwhile substantive discussions of the issues is Cruz’s wheelhouse and where Trump is mostly unable to compete. If Cruz wants to win he needs to somehow balance rebutting Trump’s personal attacks while remaining issue focused.
